Your Child's Problems

If you feel that your child or children would benefit from play therapy the next stage is to arrange an initial assessment and discussion.  At this meeting we would:

  • Explain play therapy to the child(ren) and yourself  - what's involved

  • Show the child(ren) and yourself  round The Playbarn

  • Carry out an assessment - this entails yourself and normally the child as well

  • Agree upon our therapeutic objectives, fees and payment, the number and dates of sessions and when we should have a review meeting

Fee Schedule

Initial assessment and consultation - up to 1 hour £60
Sessions at the centre (normally 40 - 50 minutes £40 per session
Sessions at other locations within the coverage area £40 - £60 per session
Training workshops for schools and other agencies From £250
